In my everyday life, I'm one of those consumers who scrutinizes labels on every product in the grocery store. I try to be a conscientious shopper. I've started thinking a little more about my consumer choices when it comes to lolita clothing, and I thought I'd present a particular issue to the EGL community and gather your thoughts.

So I've noticed over the years that shops like Closet Child and Tokyo Alice have pages (and sometimes booklets) with items they will pay a premium for. Most of the time, the things on those pages make sense; popular colorways of popular items, recent releases, etc. But every now and then things pop up on there that are somewhat puzzling; less ( Read more... )

So, I ordered a JSK from closet child yesterday, and they sent me a confirmation email saying that they would show me the total price and then send an invoice after receiving my answer about buying the item or not, and that I would then have a week to pay for it.
